Elevator Pitch #1

Pitching to small and local gym owners. I think I need a better hook, something to get their attention immediately, what suggestions do you have for me?

The Hypothesis Part 2

Outside of the boundary:  Commercial or Franchise gyms, very small gyms, Personal trainers/coaches.
The first person I interviewed used to be a manager at Orange Theory Fitness, who have gyms all around the nation. She mentioned that they already have an established sales and marketing program and that it is very successful. She actually gave me a lot of great advice as far as how they do things, but she told me that there really isn’t much of a secret they just have a lot of people whose sole purpose is to follow up with customers and get them to join. Many of these small gyms don’t have that staff and that focus on following up and sales. Orange Theory has the franchise money to back those endeavors and they would be a very hard sell if there is any sell at all.
The second person I interviewed owns a small gym, but he also has a career on the side. He mostly is doing it for the hobby and having a place to train and for his friends to join. He charges them a small fee, but they mostly get new members through word of mouth and they don’t accept anyone and everyone into their “club”. He said he wouldn’t be interested in my service but did agree that he didn’t really have a process in place for newcomers as far as advertising and sales and if he wanted to grow it then it would be something he’d have to figure out.
Another person I interviewed is a personal trainer and he trains people at a gym nearby. He talked about how he struggles to get new customers and he has used Groupon but has not received much interest from it. He pays a small gym a fee to train people there but everything else he does on his own. The need is there for him, but I don’t think my opportunity is a great fit for him. It would have to be a more established gym that has their own location and is looking to increase their members by a substantial amount.
The people I interviewed that are out of the boundary are either not necessarily looking for more clients or already have a process for attaining new clients that they like and has produced results. Their needs also are a little more different. For example the small business owner looks at his gym as a club and so he does not want just anybody to join he wants specific people and because it is his hobby he does not rely on his business as his main source of income. The orange theory gym has the time and staff to devote to sales and they are just looking to sign up as many people as possible regardless if they come in or not. And the personal trainer that is working on his own would like more clients but because it is only him he can only do so much so our services would be really limited or short lived.

Inside the boundary: small local gyms or gyms providing some kind of fitness training that have a location and can hold upwards of 100 customers.
One of the people I interviewed is a CrossFit gym owner and he agreed it is a need in the CrossFit community and many gyms struggle with sales and marketing. However he has a process that he likes and has had success so he is happy with what he has going on but he admits he does most of the work and needs more people to help him.
I also was able to interview a personal friend that does boxing and mixed martial arts and said there are local establishments that would be very interested in these services.

Solving the Problem

The Solution:

My view is being able to provide a local marketing/sales service to local gyms. These gyms are small businesses (usually LLC) that are trying to grow and expand but either don’t know how or don’t have the time and staff to help. My idea is basically providing sales training at a lower cost but that is just a small part of the business plan.
I would take care of all the marketing for that business. Through google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. I would be in charge of providing videos and content and then a lead generator. Once those leads are generated then they would meet with me at the gym they were following and I would also act as the salesman for that gym. Essentially I would be replacing a gyms sales force who does not know how to properly get the job done, or would become the sales force for those businesses that don’t have the staff or the time to do it themselves. The benefit of being local is that I would be able to meet with these gym owners face to face and show them the service we would provide and also teach their staff how to do it. Also because I am taking on all of the marketing and sales these gym owners will have so much more time to focus on their gyms and the value they are providing for their new clients.

The Hypothesis Part 1

Marketing/Sales for Smaller Non-Commercial Gyms

The opportunity:
Who – Gym owners and staff of smaller gyms usually locally
What – Don’t have the time, staff, or expertise to market and sell their services.
Why – Small businesses don’t have a blueprint on how to grow their business, they are entrepreneurs and are learning as they go.

Testing the Who – All businesses have this need especially gyms. The bigger gym names have a lot of time and money invested in sales and marketing and that is why they have made a name for themselves. The reason I believe the opportunity is greater with smaller local gyms is because the process won’t be as long and intensive because we are not dealing with a big corporation. Small gym owners want to focus more on their business and providing value and not so much on getting new customers and that is why this need is there.
Testing the What – I think some Gyms might be content being small and are not looking to grow so that might be an obstacle. Also, there might be other gyms that already have a process they like, maybe not as successful but it’s one they know and like. Also, a lot of the staff at these local gyms are younger and don’t have the experience in sales and marketing. However, there is companies that provide this service already but not on a local scale but that might be another road bump.
Testing the Why – Again many of these smaller gyms have young staff that are inexperienced, and the owners don’t have the time or money to train them. Many of these smaller gyms are run by the owner and they make all the decisions, so they might not be very good at delegating and so some things don’t get done. These owners might not believe in marketing or selling their service, they might have the wrong mindset and just need to see good results.

Interviews:
One of the people I interviewed is a young college student working at a local CrossFit Gym. She is a full-time student and works about 15 – 20 hours a week coaching and doing personal training. She feels like there is not enough time to focus on her clients, school, and also helping in recruiting new members. Sometimes it becomes more of a hassle and headache to take on some of those responsibilities even though she says the owner does most of it. As far as what she does to recruit new people to her gym she says she just invites her friends and people she knows but she doesn’t know much about the process from there.

I also interviewed a coach at small weightlifting gym who Is looking to start a gym of his own. He says the main problem he foresees is not knowing what “marketing strategy” is best and what to spend money on. Will it provide the results I need, Or will I just be wasting my money, are some of the questions he posed. He also said that starting off he would envision himself doing most of the work and eventually delegating to staff.

One local business owner said that it might be difficult because there are marketing services already out there that are “proven”. They are pricey but if an owner is serious about sales and growing their gym then he says it would be easier to go with the established service. When asked who would do all the follow-up and meeting with clients etc., he did say it would be him. He prefers to meet with those that will join his business beforehand but does agree that takes up a lot of time.

The others I interviewed shared most of the same insights, but they did ask me a lot of questions as far as the service I am offering. How I would go about it, what would it entail, etc. They seemed interested in the idea but also had their doubts.

Summary:
This is a need that every business has, and I think is something many smaller businesses are desperate for. There are lots of obstacles I was able to learn about. For example, I did not know many of the companies that offer similar services. Also, these smaller gyms rely heavily on word of mouth and they often do what other smaller businesses have done in the past so getting my foot in the door might be very difficult. I was able to see how much work some of these owners and staff do, like I said they don’t have a blueprint, so the business is run by themselves and if something doesn’t get done then that’s it no one else will do it. I think the opportunity for a local marketing service is still there, but it will take some tweaking and convincing.

Economic/Regulatory Trends

Workers: Take this job and shove it

I believe an opportunity for education on starting businesses, being self employed and entrepreneurship are great. U.S. workers are quitting their jobs at the largest rates we have ever seen and there are more job postings than applicants.
The prototypical customer is someone who is not happy at their current job or is seeking more leadership, responsibilities, freedom, etc.
I think this is something that is very easy to exploit. With the amount of social media and the ability to reach so many people at the click of a button this makes the opportunity that much better.

The NBA’s Business model

I believe an opportunity exists for a cheaper way to get NBA tickets. There are already many websites that will help you do that on the national level but maybe not so much on the local level. The facts show that the NBA is very successful and ticket prices are going up because of its success.

The prototypical customer is one who might not have the money to attend games but is a die hard fan and would want to attend. I think this would be harder to exploit just because there are already competitors out there and it would be really hard to get your name out there.

Homeless people sleeping in public

I believe an opportunity exists to provide more of a work for sleep type homeless shelter. That way the community is getting something out of it and the money being used for the homeless is also cleaning up the streets.
The prototypical customer will be government officials and residents that are fed up with homeless people sleeping on the streets or parks near residential areas.
Any time something with the government is involved it becomes hard to exploit just because it will take much time and persuading and it is not easy for them to make decisions.

NBA Age Change
I think many opportunities exist in this market. The NBA is booming and sports in general in the U.S. and the World is growing. There needs to be more focus on young players coming out of high school and being ready to enter the pros.
The prototypical customer is parents whose kids are into sports and aspire to make it to the higher levels. Also Coaches at the high school level interested in getting their students into better hands for the future. I think this would be an area that can be easily exploited because of the popularity of sports.

I think a lot of the topics I chose and the opportunities I saw where based on my love for sports and also my sales background.

Local Problems

1.    “The Vuelta must know who won in 2017”

Vuelta is a huge Spanish cycling tour that is held every year. Professional riders from all over come to compete in this prestigious event and many of its cyclists also participate in well know competitions like The Tour De France. Last year, Chris Froome won the Vuelta tour but weeks later there was traces of a banned substance in his drug test. For one or another reason, the results have not been determined and it is almost time for the 2018 Tour. The Director of Vuelta is calling for a resolution to this drug test so that they can crown the true winner.

The Problems: The Drug testing committee is not able to come to a decision, The Vuelta is not able to officially crown a winner and record it in their history books, Chris Froome does not know if he will be disqualified or not, The integrity of the race and its reputation could be hurt.

Who has the problem: The cyclist competing in The Vuelta 2018, The Vuelta directors, Chris Froome’s team, The local community.

2.    “Key Miami Dolphins starter is out for the remainder of the season. What it means”

Starting Offensive linemen Josh Sitton is injured and out for the rest of the 2018-2019 season. In Sundays game against the Tennessee Titans Sitton felt a strain in his shoulder and later fell on it. The medical staff took him to evaluate him and it was determined that he had tore his rotator cuff. Sitton wanted to continue playing as he did not feel much pain but doctors warned that if he damaged it more it could be a career ending injury. Sitton is a huge part of the offensive line not only as their best run blocker but also as a veteran, leader, and mentor to the younger players. In a league that has to be able to run the football and protect its Quarterback, Sitton has a very important role and is a commodity in the NFL.

The Problems: Miami Dolphins best Offensive lineman is injured for the rest of the season, The team is missing a leader and mentor that wont be on the field when they need it most, The Dolphins have just lost a big piece of their plan toward success. Josh Sitton is not able to “work” and provide for his family.

Who has the problem: Dolphin fan base, Josh Sitton and his family, The Dolphins organization, The offensive line, all his teammates.

3.    “This candidate was campaigning door-to-door. Then the police helicopter came.”

Roosevelt McClary is running for local office in Broward county. He was on his lunch break and was knocking doors, speaking with voters and leaving flyers for people in the nearby neighborhood. McClary accidentally triggered the alarm of a person’s home that was not present at the time. A couple minutes later the police showed up and said he matched the description of a burglar they received and began to ask him questions. McClary who is African American felt as if he was being racially profiled and began to broadcast the encounter on Facebook live. The police although cordial where getting frustrated at McClary’s frustration and assumptions. In the end it was all a misunderstanding between the homeowner and her security system who was not able to fully capture footage of her home and believed that McClary had entered the home when he had only left a flyer on the door.

The Problems: Police being called to a false robbery, homeowner believing she is being robbed, Alarm system not getting adequate video of home and perimeter, possible racially profiling, candidates for local office might be hesitant to canvas.

Who has the problem: the police department, the security system company, The homeowner and family, Roosevelt McClary and local government, residents in the neighborhood.

4.    “For the sake of the Everglades, don't expand State Road 836 to South Dade.”

The mayor of Dade county is teaming together with MDX to try and extend State Road 836 in South Dade county. This project not only will cost billions of tax payer money but will also destroy parts of South Florida’s Everglades. The Everglades is an area that most Floridians want to keep as it provides much benefit to the state. It will help with water supply and salt water erosion, etc. MDX is trying to manipulate tax payers to vote for this plan but the author debates it is more beneficial to spend that money toward maintaining the roads and building better transit systems than 6 lane highways.

The problems: Losing part of the Everglades, Construction all along the highways, billions of dollars spent, no improvement in transit systems in dade county, MDX being manipulative.

Who has the problem: Residents of dade county, residents of Florida, construction workers safety, Government officials.

5.    “Alan Jackson's son-in-law dies in slip and fall accident in Florida.”

The son in law of country star Alan Jackson died following a fall on a boat dock. He was helping a woman onto a boat when he slipped and fell on the dock and hit his head. He died of severe trauma to the head. The families are devastated as he had just married Jackson’s daughter the previous year and had a great future ahead working as assistant district attorney in Nashville.

The problems: slippery boat docks, bad maintenance of docks, weather causing docks to be slippery.

Who has the problem: anyone who has a boat or is headed to the docks in the local area, maintenance crews, people looking to buy and sell boats.

The Ideal Gym

For the past couple years, I have been working as a CrossFit Coach, recently at Dynasty CrossFit in Gainesville, FL. Before I got started in my CrossFit journey I did a lot of searching on the Internet for the right gym for me and a lot of visiting and trying these gyms out. Needless to say it was a lot of work, and once I found the right gym for me it was a relief, almost to the point where money was not an issue. CrossFit is a new fitness industry that is spreading like fire across the world. Many people are learning about it through the media and through friends and families that are bragging about their results. Many of these people want to join the right CrossFit gym but the process is more complicated than it sounds. They have to find the gym that fits their personality, a place where they belong and can make lifelong friends. They might want a place close to their home or that have the right hours for their schedules. They might be interested in a certain price or looking for a specific program to meet their needs. So how do these people find the right gym? Like I did, hours and hours of researching and calling and visiting, and frankly many people don’t have the time for that. I believe there is a need for a service that can help people find the right gym for them and introduce them to the right people and even prepare them for the movements they will be introduced to. Almost like a middle man that will do the research and the calling and visiting and match them to their new home.

The prototypical customer is someone who is searching for a CrossFit gym or is interested in doing CrossFit but might not have the time to search or might be scared of joining for any particular reason.

#1 – Late Twenties Single Man in College

1. What are just 3 characteristics of your ideal gym?
“ A sense of belonging. I want to be able to make friends and meet people my age. Knowledgeable coaches who are staying up to date on current health/exercise research. And a group of people with my similar goals.”
 2. If this gym existed locally how would you most likely go about searching for it?
“I would most likely search for it through google and google maps.”
 3. What is or would be keeping you back from joining this gym?
“If the price is way too high compared to what I will be getting in return, if I don't feel like the coaches are knowledgeable or experience in what they are doing or are not understanding towards personal needs.”
 4. if we eliminated this issue/concern would you join?
 “Yes, most likely.”
 5. Did you know on top of the monthly price most CrossFit gyms also charge a foundations course fee for the first month?
“No, I didn't know that.”
6. Would you be more inclined to join if you knew the foundational movements and didn't have to pay for that initial course?
“Yes!”
 7. Would you be interested in a service that would find your "ideal" gym for you and also provide you with the necessary training to be ready to jump into the CrossFit classes right away, at a fraction of those costs?
“Yes!”

#2 – Late Twenties married mother of 5

1. What are just 3 characteristics of your ideal gym?
“Clean, I am a clean freak! Also, it needs to be spacious (not crowded) and friendly.”
2. If this gym existed locally how would you most likely go about searching for it?
“Online, most likely like google or probably Facebook.”
3. What is or would be keeping you back from joining this gym?
Having a baby, I am paranoid about the germs I don’t want my baby to be exposed to them and also I would need daycare.”
4. if we eliminated this issue/concern would you join?
“For sure I would!”
5. Did you know on top of the monthly price most CrossFit gyms also charge a foundations course fee for the first month?
“I had no idea, but now that I think about it, it makes sense.”
6. Would you be more inclined to join if you knew the foundational movements and didn't have to pay for that initial course?
“Maybe.”
7. Would you be interested in a service that would find your "ideal" gym for you and also provide you with the necessary training to be ready to jump into the CrossFit classes right away, at a fraction of those costs?
“Yes possibly!”

#3 – Male in early forties, married with children

1. What are just 3 characteristics of your ideal gym?
“Its got to be clean, seeing people cleaning the gym or wiping it down would be nice. Adequate lighting nothing too depressing like some power lifting gyms. Enthusiastic coaches (it would be nice to see coaches of all body types and from all backgrounds).”
2. If this gym existed locally how would you most likely go about searching for it?
“Most likely I wouldn’t search for it, I really don’t have time.”
3. What is or would be keeping you back from joining this gym?
“Money, time, and childcare.”
4. if we eliminated this issue/concern would you join?
“Yes I would go if it was free, if I had unlimited time, and if childcare was offered. That would be amazing.”
5. Did you know on top of the monthly price most CrossFit gyms also charge a foundations course fee for the first month?
“nope.”
6. Would you be more inclined to join if you knew the foundational movements and didn't have to pay for that initial course?
“I have no idea what this course is for.”
7. Would you be interested in a service that would find your "ideal" gym for you and also provide you with the necessary training to be ready to jump into the CrossFit classes right away, at a fraction of those costs?
“Sure. But do you mean this app would help me find new fast food restaurants and give me coupons for cheap food?”

Reflections:
It seems like most people know what they want in a gym and it differs for everyone. Childcare seemed to be a big priority for people with kids. Most agreed that they wanted a place with great coaches and friendly atmosphere. Some didn’t care about the age of their peers or the look of the gym. The prototypical customer would have to be very motivated and have a big reason for joining a gym. It seemed like the ones who most needed it where the ones that might not be as interested.

Summary:
I think this would involve very hard work. I think the opportunity exists and there is people out there that need and would be interested in the service but they would have to be very motivated to joining their ideal gym. They would have to make it a priority and not just “try it out.” A lot of people rely on word of mouth and I think this would be a service that once a couple of people have a good experience it will spread rapidly. The initial problem is finding out what this service is (an app, a website, a call center, etc) and how to deliver it to these prototypical customers. In the end, once people see how much time they would save and how easy the process could be for them I think it could be a success.

Bugs Life

  1. The movie pass service I subscribed started out great but then they started to make restrictions like you couldn’t watch certain movies or only specific movies were available and changes that I had not signed up for and it is very frustrating.                                       WHY? the company had a bad business plan and needs to stay afloat. Their ideas are good but execution aren't great so they need to pivot and change.
  2. It bugs me when I have a problem with a service or I need help and you call the customer service line and they either cant do anything to help or you can never reach them.                                                                                                                                 WHY? Customer service might not be a priority for these companies. Customer service reps are not given any liberties and maybe just asked to read off a script.
  3. The over the air TV subscriptions are great and cheap but they buffer a lot sometimes and interrupt what you are watching.                                                                           WHY? They are trying to keep costs down due to no contracts and no installation fees so the technology might not be completely there yet.
  4. My Sprint service data is so slow there are areas in town where I cant even load an image from google.                                                                                                   WHY? Sprint is in a battle against other large successful cell providers and they don't have enough coverage especially in rural areas.
  5. I get frustrated when I try to be on time for work or other engagements I have but something happens and I am just minutes sometimes even seconds late.                 WHY? Being on time is important. It shows that you care and that you are organized and so when someone is not onetime we tend to judge them by that.
  6. After I workout in this humidity my clothes are completely wet and I sometimes I cant wash them right away so I have no idea what to do with them. If I leave them in my hamper all wet then they begin to rot.                                                                        WHY? We all want to look good and smell good. I don't want my clothes to stink but also it is not efficient to be washing clothes everyday.
  7. There are a lot of great burger joints but most of them don’t have great quality as far as their lettuce, tomatoes, and onions and it drives me crazy.                                   WHY? Most burger places want to spend more money on the quality of their meats and maybe add ons that give them an advantage. Lettuce and veggies is not a priority for them.
  8. The traffic on 20th ave from about 3-6pm is horrible just to drive half a mile it takes about 30 minutes.                                                                                                      WHY? We want to avoid accidents and when streets are too busy accidents are more likely to occur. Also we are all about time and saving time so being stuck in traffic is a waste of our precious time.
  9. Most radio stations I’ve listened to play the same songs over and over again you have to keep changing stations or else you’ll go crazy.                                                           WHY? Maybe these radio stations are trying to target specific groups of people so they want that music playing all of the time. They might also just want to play the newest things to show that they are hip and stay with the times.
  10. Sports Channels and stations like ESPN are becoming too political.                             WHY? Everyone has opinions and we are living in a time where everyone wants to be heard. These sports analysts might not want to stick to a specific script and might want to talk about what might be important to them. It is their jobs and their careers.
  11. Moving into an Apartment feels like you are being taken advantage of with all the fees and deposits.                                                                                                                   WHY? The Management company has to make money but I think more importantly they have to protect themselves. They might have been burned a lot more than we think so now they add on all these fees to try and cut their losses.
  12. Drivers not turning right on red when they can.                                                          WHY? People are afraid of breaking the law or causing problems so they are hesitant to do something that is legal but might "look" risky. They might also not know the rules.
  13. Waiting in line at the grocery store or bank or really anywhere.                                    WHY? Again time is money. We are all about saving time so we can do what we want so waiting in line feels like a huge sacrifice.
  14. When you use a public restroom and wash your hands and realize there is no paper to dry your hands with.                                                                                                     WHY? These public places might not have the money or staff to be on top of all the issues that come up on a daily basis.
  15. My contacts after a couple hours begin to irritate my eyes and hurt.                             WHY? Contacts aren't something normal and they are providing a benefit in themselves so maybe its just hard to have it all.
  16. Chick fil a line for lunch is extended onto the Main Street.                                                WHY? They are a great company and are very popular. Also lunch time is the time where most full time workers in that area can actually have a break from work.
  17. When people at restaurants waste food.                                                                         WHY? Not everyone is as fortunate as some of us here in America. There are people in other countries dying to have the privileges we have.
  18. When people are rude to waitresses/waiters.                                                                   WHY? Shows a lack of patience and lack of empathy. They have a hard job and are trying to do their best just like each of us do at our own professions.
  19. The ice in the ice maker gets clogged and the ice get all stuck together.                       WHY? The machine might not know when to stop making ice. The sensor might not be working properly or maybe there haven't been too much upgrades on the system because it is not something we think about much.
  20. When I buy some awesome white shoes and they turn yellow after a couple wears.     WHY? The materials in the shoes aren't made to be able to stay white forever. With the shoe industry as it is every shoe company is trying to save money on production and material costs so it might be a cheaper material.
The first 10 bugs were pretty easy to come up with but the last 10 were definitely more challenging. This exercise forced me to really look at the world around me and figure out what really bugs me or maybe not so much bug but things that aren't how I'd like them to be, and how we can find solutions. It also helped to realize its not all about me and that I have to have patience because a lot of these bugs are helping make my life better but I am still complaining about how "I want them to be". Being in the Entrepreneur mindset helps to see services and business in a different light and understand that things aren't always going to be exactly how we want them to be.

Eagle Scout to Entrepreneur

From what I can remember the first time I tasted a little bit of entrepreneur power was when I completed my eagle scout project as a senior in high school. I wanted to do something that was different, something original, that people would love to hear about. I started searching and brainstorming for ideas early my junior year but fell into serious procrastination. Finally there was only a couple months to complete my project and I was running out of time, I needed to pick something quick and something that already had a foundation I could build on. Someone suggested I do a blood drive for LifeSouth. At first it sounded a bit corny and easy but I started to do my research and found out that donating blood is vital for hospitals and most of the time they don’t have enough of a supply. I drove to my nearest LifeSouth and met with one of the managers. He told me about their numbers and how much supply they get on a daily and weekly basis, how low they are sometimes, and the lengths they go to get others to donate. He also showed me the results of a previous high school student that put on a blood drive and how much of help it was for them. I decided to take on the challenge.
I didn't have much time to prepare but I wanted my drive to be the biggest and best they had yet. From there on the manager and I began a close relationship with one goal in mind, to get people to donate. We brainstormed ideas on how to get the word out and what we needed to do to prepare. I began to print out flyers and hand them out at school, church, dances, etc. I was able to get in touch with my schools media team and I created an ad to go on the schools morning news. I invited everyone I knew and asked them to invite their friends. Next we decided that we wanted the facility where people would donate to be comfortable and inviting. So we decided to order food for people waiting or for those that had already donated. We brought out two massage chairs and had 2 of my mothers massage therapist friends come out and give people massages. We had music and most importantly gifts for all those that donated. Finally I needed to get a couple of sponsors to provide money for all the materials we needed. I made a list of people I thought would be able to donate to the cause and approached them and gave them my pitch. It was basically like sales, I was selling myself and my idea. Finally the big day arrived, we had so many people show up that the line was extended out the door. In fact some people left because the wait was a little too long for them, LifeSouth was not expecting so many people and their check in process was not very fast. All in all, it was a huge success, we were able to donate over 80 pints of blood in one day, a record for that branch. This experience was incredibly hard work and after, for the first time in months, I was able to rest and relax for a bit. I learned the importance of working hard and having a definite goal in mind. I learned the importance of relationships and asking for help. I learned that sometimes its the hardest things that bring us the most satisfaction and purpose in our lives.

I decided to take this class because like many students I want the freedom and purpose that comes with being an Entrepreneur. It is very hard for me to imagine myself working at a 9-5 job and having a boss to answer to every day. Like many young people I am still trying to decide what my niche is and what I want to do with my life. However, I do know that there is so much work to be done and ideas to be executed and my goal is to find out how I can be ready when the opportunity presents itself. Obviously there is not a format on how to start a business or how to execute an idea. There are many successful businesses that have been created by many different means but I think the underlying philosophies are the same, and that is what I would like to learn in this course.
